This kerchief is made using a base of chocolate coloured silk fabric, a fine layer of cocoa merino wool roving, and a sprinkling of colourful yarn that has been thrifted or donated. Through the process called Nuno-felting, the wool fibres become embedded in the silk and fuse, so that the two become one. It is both light and cozy to wear.

This kerchief measures about 52” across the top and about 20-21” down to the point. The shrinkage that occurs during the felting process tends to vary, so each kerchief really is one of a kind.
