This piece is made by chopping up bits of thrifted + donated yarn and then felting this colourful yarn confetti between layers of 100% Merino Wool Roving. It has been framed in White Oak by M Woodworks.

'Fete', is an all occasions celebration of life. It is the colourful slice of cake you eat to celebrate a trip around the sun. It is the confetti thrown in celebration of love. It is the boom of fireworks that strike us with wonder and awe. It is a party for your wall that is both loud in its' bursts of colour, and soft in its' texture.

It is a piece that is meant to conjure joy and gratitude for all of the big and small things we have to celebrate everyday, even and especially when that feels hard to do.
